With so many museums in London, there may be an exhibition you want to see such the Terracotta Army at the British Museum or Tutankhamen at The 02 Arena (you could also take the ferry to The 02 Arena instead of the tube as an added touch).
Head for Primrose Hill and then walk through Regents Park. There is also a canal n the Primrose Hill side of Regents Park with passenger boats heading towards Little Venice in one direction and Camden Market in the other direction. |

Romance is what the two people make it to be - it doesn't matter where you go!
All the big parks are great for a romantic walk, esp if you go on a boat ride.
Good luck :D |

Does he like entertainment? A good day out could be to have a meal and see a show or a musical (I recommend lastminute.com for some good ideas and deals), or if he is a big screen fan then Leicester Square has some excellent, but pricey, cinemas.
If he is a footy fan then Wembley, Arsenal and Chelsea all run tours, or Twickenham if he is into rugby. Or if he likes his history, a day to the Tower of London or Westminster Abbey are both rewarding.
There's lots to do really so it depends on what he likes - but I am sure a day in London spent together for just the two of you, away from everyone and everything, will be romantic enough. |

Forget about romantic - men like any day out that doesn't cost anything ;-)
Kew is a good idea... if the weather is right.
Also Hampton Court!
Maybe there is a possibility to go to these places not by train, but by boat up the river?????
closer to the centre, I'd love to visit the new "Vault" at the Natural History Museum some day - all those precious gems.
Last Friday of every month (but only until April!) they have late night opening for The Vault (they also have some other evening events, I think) and they seem to have a cocktail bar of sorts - just check out the links below... |

Someone suggested Kew Gardens ... I second that; when we were in London, we took a boat from Westminster Pier up the Thames to Kew ....do they still do that? You could pack a box lunch of sandwiches, a thermos of coffee and some cake ... that would be nice...take a camera !!

take a slow climb of the 311 steps to the top and thank him for staying with you through, and etc etc...
