I have travelled all over the world and i enjoy seeing new places and experiencing new cultures.
My friend has just got back from a long weekend in Denmark and she said what a beautiful place it was.
I am interested in visiting the Scandinavian countries, but they are very expensive when you get there, so it is a little off putting to be honest.
My love is America, its so diverse and there is something there for everyone, no matter what your interests you'll find something which can occupy your desires.

Italy used to be very popular with British tourists (especially places like Rimini) but you probably weren't born then
we tend to be attracted to somewhere where the weather is hot and it doesn't rain too much, where there's nice beaches, and where we get a good rate of exchange so our money goes a long way ... right at the moment the places that fit this description tend to be US (especially Florida), Spain, Thailand, Goa, Portugal, Greek Islands, Turkey
personally I don't like too hot ... this year I had a spring break in Malta which was nice, and next week I'm going for a week in the country in Norfolk ... the places I'm looking at for next year are Canada, Grand Canyon in the US, Calcutta and Darjeeling in India, or a cruise up the Norwegian coast ... I haven't a clue whether any or these plans will come to anything though
(sorry Italy isn't on my list) |

Personally I stay in the UK most years - this year I went to Spain for a week (I have family connections with Spain.)
I'm married to an Italian but have never been to Italy! I like travelling for culture but not really for a holiday - to relax I go camping in the UK (and 'cos it's cheap! and has a low carbon footprint - I'm an old hippy!) |

different brits like different things. me and my family mainly go to places in Europe because the flights arent as long and tedious. This Croatia, last year northern Cyprus and Munich (Germany) The year before that Rhodes (Island just off of Greece) and Sicily (Southern Islands off Italy) And the year before that (if i remember rightly) Lake Garda (Italy) We also plan to go to new york this xmas for shopping, and Thailand next year =) oh, and we also go to france every year in July for my fathers birthday and Devon in september.
Im British, so i hope this gives you some idea as to where we go on hols. |
