The Avoca Hotel in Newcastle Co.Down where the mountains of mourne sweep down to the sea,its really beautiful along that coastline and the hotel is right in front of the sea.
The best hotel with the most fantastic setting is called The Slieve Donard which backs onto the world famous Royal County Down Golf Course while at the front it has its own private part of the beach and a splendid view of the mourne mountains. This hotel is a little more expensive but certainly worth it !
Good luck !

If you don't mind staying in a caravan, Devon Cliffs is just gorgeous. I've been twice and love it both times. Once I was only young, the second time I was about 14 :)
