Ikon Gallery (and Cafe Ikon...mmm) then explore the nice areas around Brindley Place and at the back of the library. Check out the Museum and Art Gallery too. Cannon Hill Park for wildlife, mac and Nature Centre. Bull Ring/Mailbox for shopping. Cadbury World. The Barber Institute at U of Bham if you like your Pre-Raphaelites. Ballet at the Hippodrome or check out some of our other theatres for plays. If you fancy going a bit further afield there's nice old towns like Worcester, Warwick for the castle, Stratford for Shakespeare, check out the Black Country Museum, cave dwellings at Kinver. There's lots to do!

Digbeth coach station is one of the finest architectural wonders of it's age; the cafe's food and ambience make it one of Brum's best eating houses and one can marvel at coaches coming and going from all over the country. Failing that there's a massage parlour over the road.

the tolkien trail, (lord of the rings, the hobbit etc), cadburys world.
the gun quarter, the jewellery quarter, the baltie belt (like curry mile). the mail box (shopping centre with bars and cafes), broad street.

star city or the sealife centre

the fantastic icon gallery it's only two rooms big so it won't take long to go around, but they have so really good art.

Plus to get there you walk through the shopping centre and the canal so you get to see a lot of the city.

bringmesunshine is back!!!
The canals to the south of the city - yes, they do have some.
Failing that Cadbury World. If you hate chocolate I can't help you...sorry...
