As people have already said Ripon is in North Yorkshire. If going by public transport catch a train to Leeds (2-2.5 hours) Local train every 30 mins to Harrogate (about 30 mins journey) then number 36 bus to Ripon every 20 mins from bus station outside rail station. The 36 actually starts in Leeds, but bus stn is a hike from rail stn.

Hi

Ripon is in North Yorkshire and is about 230 miles from London - maybe a 2 and half hour train trip.

Here's some more info you may find useful...

Ripon is a small cathedral city in North Yorkshire, England. As a historic Yorkshire city, Ripon had a population of 15,922 at the 2001 census.

According to the AA Routeplanner distance From: London
To: Ripon,North Yorkshire
Distance: 229.1 miles

Time: 4 hr 12 min

Find the link below - if you need it they also have a map and instructions on how to get there by road. If going by rail you would probably need to get a GNER train to York or Skipton and change.

Over 200 miles. Look up AA autoroute then you can get an exact figure and a route too!
