Not London Zoo that's for sure. I took my kids there recently & it's a big, boring waste of time & money. Apart from the gorillas there's hardly any decent animals. |

Would say London Zoo - value for money and in a nice surrounding area too!
Dublin Zoo is grand if you fancy a trip across the pond! |

It depends where you live in the UK
In my opinion, South Lakes Wild Animal Park is the best :) |

I love Chester zoo and still go even thought the kids are all grown up!! Not keen on London zoo. South Lakes Wild Animal Park is supposed to be great, it's just a couple of miles up the road from us and as we drive past to go shopping we can see a lot of the animals from the road. Haven't been even though it is so close, I think it's just a s0ds law thing. Will deffinitely go this year!! If you want a great holiday come stay in the lakes and go to South Lakes Wild Animal Park, I'll even recommend a hotel or caravan park free of charge! :-) |

London Zoo is great, but Whipsnade is more open and natural.
It depends on where exactly you are traveling from.
Have a great time! |

Although London Zoo has its attractions, for me the best zoos are Whipsnade or Longleat, because in both of the latter, the animals are kept in conditions as close to their natural environment as possible. The down-side is that you may nt get as close to the animals as you would in a closed park, such as London. |

Twycross Zoo is a fantastic one. They have pretty much everything there but they do specialise in monkeys and apes. Worth a visit. |
