Aberdeen is a nice place but Glasgow is the best. |

Depends on what you prefer, do you like city life then Edinburgh or Glasgow or a quiet town village then there are hundreds of nice places all around the country |

Inverness and Perth have VERY good quality of life.
Dundee and Stirling OK too
Places to avoid- Dumbarton, Gorbals, Aberdeen. Carluke is the armpit of Scotland, best avoided too.
A general rule I was told is to to draw a line from Dumbarton to Aberdeen and anything NORTH of that line will generally be OK. |

The Borders, you have beauty and splendour in the scenery, peace and tranquility but you still have nice little towns with shops and essentials !! |

The huge numbers we have living here suggest most Scots prefer London. (PS Would you like your politicians back?) |

Depends if you prefer Town or countryside, I'm from Aberdeen, it has plenty to offer, jobs friendly people, surounded by lovely countryside and not far from the Highlands. |
