A nice quiet village close to the sea, along the south coast. Bosham is lovely but I would never be able to afford a house there.

I am living in it.
I live in between North Yorkshire and Middlesborough on the river Tees.
The village where i live is built up the hillside therefore all houses in front of mine decline downwards from 300 feet above sea level. The front of my house gives me views of the sea via the countryside. I can sit and look at the ships at anchor waiting for the tide to come in till the sea water is deep enough to get them through the mouth of the tees. Between my village and the sea there is lots of country side and woods or forests. I have only lived here for just under 4 years but I love it. I have travelled around a lot over the years but i was born and spent most of my life in a concrete jungle as I describe my home town. I am so lucky to have found this little cottage which is one of four situated up a fairly long drive into a private yard. The garden is only small but big enough for to plant the few herbs and veg that I need for my use.
Also their are lots of free and cheap places to visit especially if you like the fresh air.

Try living in Walsall for a week. Then anywhere else will
seem ideal. :-)

I'd like to live in a quiet village somewhere in the Cotswolds or Yorkshire Dales.Currently I live on the south coast right on the beach, but I'm surrounded by immigrants who make our lives a living nightmare.
