Here are some locations that we've enjoyed:

1. Africa

In Zimbabwe and Zambia, visit Victoria Falls, do a canoe safari down the mighty Zambezi where you can see elephants grazing on the islands in the river. Visit the local markets to experience the lifestyles of the local people.

Botswana is probably one of the best safari locations for photographers with a possible exception being Tanzania during the great migration.

In South Africa, skip Capetown and stay at a safari resort like Phinda: You can combine the excitement of a safari with a luxurious private lodge, a day of relaxation at the beach, go on canoe safaris to experience the amazing (and dangerous) hippos, scuba dive, witness sea turtle eggs hatching, and enjoy the amazing African sunsets.

2. Southeast Asia.

Of all of the places we have visited in SE Asia, our favorites are Cambodia and Laos. In Laos, stay for a minimum of 4-5 days in Luang Prabang. The city is very traditional and quaint while still being convenient for tourists. It won't retain its quaintness much longer. There are some beautiful waterfalls, fun natural activities as well as leisurely walks through various bamboo villages, river-cave temples, and an unbelievable wildlife market. Go before it gets too touristy! Cambodia was almost as good as Laos. In Cambodia, go to Siem Reap where there are some amazing temple ruins. One warning: Go in the winter. We were there to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat on New Years, and the temperature was into the 100s ... we were told it gets much hotter in the summer!

3. South America.

In South America, our favorite place was Iguazu Falls on the border of Brazil and Argentina. These falls were the most impressive and amazing falls we've seen. More beautiful and impressive than Niagara Falls, Victoria Falls in Africa, Akaka Falls in Hawaii, etc. We've seen alot of water falls, and Iguazu takes the cake by a wide margin. They even have speedboats (on the Brazil side) that will take you right into one of the falls (that's right ... the water pours onto your heads and into the boat. It's a wonder the boats don't sink under this massive torrent!)

By the way, if you have a chance to visit Rio de Janeiro, definitely go hang-gliding. It's probably the best city in the world for this activity as the views are amazing!

4. India.

In India, focus on the state of Rajhastan. It includes the Taj Mahal which is far more beautiful and awesome in person than in pictures. Also, the watery city of Udaipur is often compared to Venice. A safari in the desert, elephant rides in the city of Jaipur, and the markets of Delhi are all worth a trip to this amazing country.

Hope this is helpful!

There are some relaxing places in England, too. If you're looking for somewhere less expensive then there are plenty of alternatives about.

It depends on what you like to do and your budget. Think about those two and contact a travel agent or research online.

Have fun!!

cyprus is culture the people have time form pleasantries and its hot hot hot you can get flights for 120 (flight only) from travelrepublic.com if you decide to go like 3 days b4 quite good for a 5 hour flight. ayia napa for those of us who like to be leglass.! or quite nights along beach fronts and warm breezes sold it to you yet. well worth a look. simply beautiful.

Ireland........Because the people are nice, the food is great and the way of life is so laid you have to experience it for yourself. I went there of a weakend break but stayed for almost 2 years.

There's no place like it (I've spent the best part of 9 years travelling around Europe so I know what I'm talking about)

I suppose it completely depends on your budget.

If you have a load of money then Dominican Republic is beautiful or if you are going cheap and cheerful why not go into your travel agents and just say where can I go if I want to leave tomorrow. See what they have to offer. It might not sound like the kind of place you would normally visit but it could turn out to be the best holiday you have ever had. The mystery helps make it more exciting.
