Between Fulham and Ealing...admirable transport to most other parts of London, and safely away from the intense jet noise of Heathrow-bound planes.

The nicest part in west london is the M4 motorway coz it takes you away from the place

Teddington which is more south west. Any of the last 7 tube stops to Heathrow terminals.

Pup
Richmond, Teddington, Hampton. They are all very nice but expensive

It's all expensive. The more expensive it is the nicer it is! The best parts (i.e. the most expensive) are Chelsea, Kensington and Richmond (though perhaps Richmond is more South West than West!)

Depends on your price range. From Oxford St to to Holland Park and all the bits around are lovely but a bit poncy these days and expensive, I still like it though. Shepard's Bush is coming up in the world and so are all the areas down to Southall. Otherwise I would recommend the SW are Fulham Broadway to Wandsworth and along StJohns Hill all very nice.

It would help a lot to know what you wanted to know for though, prices, safety, aesthetics, shopping or nightlife?

Expensive part: Kensington; Holland Park, Hammersmith, Little Venice/Warwick Avenue.

Mid-price: Bayswater, Paddington, Earl's Court, Maida Vale

London is all bad. Come live in the north east where we greet each other with smiles not knives. You don't have to be a millionaire to have a mortgage either. Escape London while you can!
