Hive Beach, in Dorset, during the 1940s, the British and Americans practiced the D-Day landings at that beach. Also, what was the name of that beach where that cargo ship ran-agound? if you want some trinkets, best go to that one!
Being Northern, I would have said Freshfield, but that's a beach only good enough to dig holes in the sand! |
