What part of Britain? You will find different types of accents in different parts of the country just as the Georgia accent is different from Brooklyn which is different from Chicago. There are different accents within London alone.
The best way would be to spend a lot of time in Britain.
Be sort of careful with that accent though. When it comes out that you're not really British, you will be considered by many to be phony. |

Every county in Britain has a different dialect and every state in The US has a different dialect , some of the people even have different accents and some of them haven't even mastered the language either .
It's not always the dialect that's the problem , it's the different meaning for each everyday item , for example in The North West a Muffin is a Bread product but in The South East a Muffin is a small cake . |

British - That's the true English accent. American is another accent made by the British.
But in Songs i prefer the American accent because it's more flowing.
Australian- mehh...
I like the French accent
As for me, I speak an Oxbridge accent and am quite good at American. |

There are many different British accents. In fact there are many different English accents, as well as many Scots and Irish accents. Compare Mayo with Dublin or Derry, for example, or Yorkshire with East London.
Compare Sean Connery with Sean Bean, too! If you're interested in British accents, British films are a good place to listen to them.
I'm sure there are as many American accents, too. |
