You don't say where you are starting from but Cornwall and Devon have some wonderful beaches as does the Gower Peninsula in Wales and you could also check out the beaches in Northumberland.

Cornwall or camber sands

I live on the Kent coast, but I believe the best beaches are in Bournemouth, Dorset or on the North Devon coastline.
With either you won't be disappointed.

The Moray Coast. I am from Ayrshire and we have our share but I suspect the Moray coast would be less spoilt by tourism, The bottlenosed dolphins would agree!

Bude on the North Cornish Coast - Beautiful. Trust me this is a true local talking!

Dont be fooled by Newquay. It has become downtrodden and too comercial where as Bude doesnt have litter everywhere is clean and unspoilt. Just up the road from bude is widmouth where they have surfing comps if thats your thing. Come to Bude !!
