Blackpool used to be popular but now it is only if you're on a stag / hen weekend and want to get totally off your face.

It's probably the Lake District now or something

East Norflok Coastline, just like the West French coast. Beautiful, and not commercialised, except Great Yarmouth and Caister. Go a bit further up........

Probably Cornwall and the Lake District.

Jersey, Channel Islands

I went to Blackpool and the Lake District last week.
Blackpool looked dead, hardly anyone was there and the sea was absolutely disgusting, I have never seen it look that dirty before. It has become the Las Vegas of the UK, gaudy and tacky.

The Lake District was just heaving on Sunday. There was an airshow going on with Tornado's, Chinook helicopters and the Red Arrows performing. The scenery was stunning. Judging by the amount of people there I would say that it is extremely popular with British holidaymakers.

Seeing as I don't know where you are from, it depends on whether you mean places that British people go to, or places where foreigners go to. When British people take a holiday in the UK, they go to the places mentioned above (Weymouth, Blackpool, Skegness, the Lake District, etc.). But if you are a foreigner then you are unlikely to want to go to these places because it isn't where all the sights are and they don't really cater for foreign tastes and expectations. That's why foriegners go to places like London, Edinburgh and Bath, where you can take in all the history and architecture and so on that British people aren't bothered about.

London of course loads of tourist come here as well to look at all the famous places
