Rolyn dal yma o hyd!
It depends on what you like to do.
Snowdon (the highest mountain in England and Wales) is a must, you can go up/down by narrow-track railway from Llanberis.
Llanberis also has Europe's biggest Hydro-Electric Power Station...it's inside the mountain and there are guided trips inside...awesome!
There are many long, sandy beaches like Abersoch, Harlech,Nefyn etc.
Portmeirion, the little Italianate village which was the setting for the TV cult series' The Prisoner' .
There are many castles to visit..Caernarfon, Harlech, Conwy, Beaumaris, Cricieth.
You can take a boat trip to Bardsey island (the burial place of 3000 pilgrims).
There are many lovely walks you can go on.
Visit any Tourist Information office for more details.

Why the thumb-down?..In fact why has EVERYONE got a thumb-down?

It depends what you want. Nefyn for the beach, or Snowdonia for the mountains, & then there are good castles to visit.

It depends what your looking for!!
beaches and funfairs etc then it has to be Barmouth but if you want amazing views of mountains and rivers etc then I would suggest Llanberis or Betws y coed

Sidney(obviously too)Vicious
Llanberis

It sort of depands on your age range, if you have a family, etc.

Try wrexham for shopping, sport and clubs.

You might find it useful to note that the weather can be very 'localised' in North Wales - so if it's raining in the mountains, try the coast; if it's raining on the coast AND in the mountains, try Anglesey. I agree with the suggestions of Llanberis (lakes, mountains, railway up Snowdon or by lake), and some of the best beaches are on the Lleyn peninsula - e.g. Abersoch, Aberdaron. The Italianate village of Portmeirion is very pretty, and at nearby Portmadoc you have a super narrow gauge steam railway.

Loggerheads Country Park!!

The walks and scenery are amazing...and theres a cafe, and picnic benches to.
If you do go, try to get to Devils Gorge- thats pretty incredible (theres a cave you can go into)

Wrexhams awesome too, but thats good for clubs.

Denbighshire in general is pretty good :)

Moel Famau or Snowdon, if you want to go to mountain walks and stuff.

Prestatyn is a nice place for the beach- Rhyl's okay too but it hasn't got the nicest of reputations!

Have fun wherever you go though!
:)
