LONDON - it has it all!

Ladyfromdrum
The Highlands of Scotland can't be beaten for scenery, food, great people, tradition, castles, lochs, skiing, fishing, stalking, mountain bike trails, hill walking, superb accommodation in B&Bs., Hotels, Guest Houses etc.
May and September are the best months for the weather unless you are skiing in the Winter.

Bristol
Oxford
York

All nice

London over-rated, full of rude, arrogant people who think they are better than the rest of the country. And it's expensive, dirty and crowded.

Rahma
You could go to Wales, they have alot of countryside

I would have to say Scotland I have been loads of times with family my two young children then ages 11 and 16 and we had a great time, the people where lovely and very friendly any where in Scotland is great as you are only a short trip away from mountains and great night life, all along the coast is great and around the heads of Ayr is spectacular.

Club Tropicana
Swindon. It put the wilt in Wiltshire

depends on what you are looking for?Edinburgh is great for site seeing day time and at night the place comes alive the grass market,is fab,pub restaurants all in a row you do not have to walk far?Glasgow is another great place then up north if you like the fresh air and the out door life and they have night life too?Manchester,is also great,it just depends on what you are looking for on your visit hope this has helped?

Cornwall is my favourite. But there are so many beautiful places in the Uk, just driving through some of the villages is great , with all the old houses and lovely parks. Loads to do here, there is always something on the go. Scotland is just a fantastic, loads of waterfalls and the mountains. :)))

Well it depends on what you like, if you like beaches and countryside i would suggest south west wales. There is a beach called "barafundle beach" and i think its one of the best in the uk. Or devon/cornwall is nice for beaches as well. If you are more in to mountains you should go to the scottish highlands but i have just come back from there and you went ages without seeing anything, so its up to you if you like that. Or there is the lake district which has countryside and mountains etc but there are more shops etc as well. Or if you like the city life some of the nicest cities in the uk are Cardiff, because its modern, clean and is europes fastest growing city. Or london because there is loadssssss to do there or Edinburgh is nice as well. However i would stay well way from Glasgow because i found it dirty and rough as there were people dealing drugs down alley ways and also the historic old buildings had weeds growing out of them and to top it all off on the main shopping street there was a pool of blood with police standing around it. So there you go, next time say what you like so it will be easier to answer the question.

West coast of Scotland, The isle of Mull and the tiny island of Iona are just breathtaking. Edinburgh is a good place to spend a long weekend on the way there, a very vibrant city with loads to see and do.
