Coventry. It is an evil place

Fairy Codswallop
Coventry's not an evil place, I don't know why, but Hove came to mind when I read your Q, I've never even been there. Oh well.

The White House???? In the UK???? Since when??????

Anyway, the majority of old council estates aren't generally very nice to live in, and before anyone has a go at me for that, I used to live on a council estate! The regenerated council estates aren't so bad, just the old ones.

Evil J.Twin
Hey, what's so evil about Coventry?
Anyway, I think there are some good and some bad parts wherever you go. Where I live(a small town near Coventry) there's nothing to do unless you enjoy shopping in charity shops and card shops! Or if you enjoy theatrical entertainment(but that's expensive and it's an advantage if you can drive or live very close to the centre cos all the decent stuff is on late at night! I live in a nice, quiet area but my mum lives round the corner on a "trampy" estate! It just depends how much money you have, ie. whether you can afford to live in a decent part of whichever place you choose.

The worst I've seen is Moss Side in Manchester. Very poor and overrun by gangs

According to reseach by "crap towns" it's Hull although I have my own view.

As a UK resident with experience of the place I would say that most cities have good and bad areas... The worst I've seen is around Glasgow, but there is good there too.... Same for Manchester and Birmingham.... Generally once you get out of the big cities then the UK is all pretty safe and nice to live..

They're all ok if a person has money. The South coast is the best as it's got the most sun. It's beautiful. If a person hasn't money then Northern Ireland is the worst as the scum-bag paramilitaries control/rule the poor housing estates. I won't even speak about what they do.- Kinda like living in the Bronx or Harlem.

Its all good. Loads of beer, birthplace of most of the great bands, loads of history and most importantly our greatest exports football, rugby, cricket and wit
