tesco has a very good deal on theres, i belive it's provided via greenflag, it's much cheaper then the AA or RAC, and will cover the care whoever drives it.

however if you need more than one car covered i would go for the AA, you can get all sorts of discounts from them, and if you go to america you can request a AAA card which will cover you and give you discounts there as well.

If you have been driving for over ten years, why not try, GEM, They are much cheaper, more flexible, and give better cover. Phone 01342 825676 for details. I've been with them for years and recommend them! They cover you and your partner in any car! for one payment. Also, there is no age limit to the car, AA and RAC have one, ten years old I think, ideal if you have a "classic" car!

Both are about the same, offering the same level of service. Personally I use RAC

taxed till i die,
Does not matter which just get the best deal.

What about green flag? I am a member of the AA.

Pete
Either is as good as the other. I am in RAC now and find them great. My parents are equally happy with the AA.

We get Green Flag free with our insurance...they will even come out to our home just like the ones we pay for....

I've broken down once, and my husbands car has broken down a few times now and they have always given excellent service...maybe we are just lucky being in the area we are in...

We have been in both the RAC and the AA but would prefer Green Flag to both of those companies....just personal preference.

Much of a likeness, both do the same thing at similar prices. However before you join either check you haven't got cover else where. tend to get breakdown cover bundled with lots of products these days. e.g I get breakdown cover with my Barclays account. (Barclays additions gives RAC cover)
If however you decide to join one or the other my advice would be find the level of service you require and google both to find which is cheapest and what promotions their currently running.

Not Green Flag.

Britannia Rescue is a good service, and has a really good network because (I believe) its a cooperative. It's always served me and the rest of my family well, and we tend to drive really cheap, old cars.

the RAC cover the person, not a particular vehicle. you can get help even if you are just a passenger.
