Both are for wimps. Real Central line travellers go for Epping or West Ruislip every time. Daring ones even get off at Roding Valley or Theydon Bois. Mind you Blake Hall was best of all, but that closed about 25 years ago. Almost as good was Ongar. That closed in 1994. It had scorpions living under the platform! Perhaps it still has....This is true - I'm not making it up!

It depends - you don't specifiy best for what. Bond St is a larger station.

Bond Street. You're straight out onto Oxford Street via a shopping centre - no roads to cross. Unlike Marble Arch which can be a nightmare to get anywhere from on foot.

They are both ok, but Bond Street is larger.

What are you doing and where are you going? Marble Arch is at the bottom of Oxford St. so you can get off there and walk all the way up, taking in the marvellous crowds and fantastic shops. Or, get of at Bond St avoid half the crowds and visit only the shops that are of some interest!

LouLou
Bond street because its larger.

Bond street - actually i have no preference, but i do like james bond, to be perfectly honest i think waterloo

ErnieBert
Bond Street because I just love the smell of the waffles at the Ben and Jerry ice cream shop!

I guess it depends where you want to go. If for Oxford Street, I'd choose Marble Arch as it is at the western-most end of the street so you can walk the entire length of London's most famous shopping mile, whereas Bond Street station lies about a quarter of the way into Oxford Street.
