Ive been a few times and my kids like it but i think its over rated my self i would rather visit Buckingham palace than the dungeons

Twisted_Ace
I first went about 20 years ago and it was excellent.
I went again about 10 years ago and it was rubbish. Many of the gorier elements had been toned down and the Satanic orgy section had been removed altogether.

Seems like the PC brigade had been on the warpath...

Very disappointing. : (

In fact, I found the people I was wandering round with more scary than the exhibits.

its not my cup of tea..;)

sigumend_f
I was disappointed. It's just for kids.

yeah i went and thought it was rubbash!

only 'museum' that was more disappointing was one in Australia where some guy had done his cellar out like a cave and you had to wear proper miners hats as you walked around his polystyrene cave- complete joke!

I went year ago and got thrown out for blowing out the candles.

Its makes for a great chilling history lesson of old London.

I have been to the York Dungeons and they were brilliant. I go about once a year and I love them. I am sad that you don't like the London ones, perhaps they are not as good as the York ones.

I went to the London Dungeon last September. I expected to be scared due to the hype I read about it. But, no, it wasn't scary; just creepy.

Wobbly
Yes and it was terrifying! I do scare easily but it was really scary. It was quiet in there when we went and one of the guys who walk around trying to scare people made it his mission to reduce me to a quivering wreck.

I hated it and I'll never go again!

nogrudgerudge
stella from eastenders took ben and really scared him so although ive not visited it myself liked that episode and will take my 18 yr old son if he continues to annoy me and give him the same treatment!

It's crap. An overpriced tourist trap. So are Tussaud's and the Eye.
