Every one to their own.It would be a dull world if we all thought the same, not to mention a dull Yahoo answers.

We stay in a caravan in Cornwall every year & we love it.Mind you it is a static one so it's got everything you need & more.Have never been touring but would say it's great fun. I don't think I would swap for a week in Algarve - the kids enjoy their surfing too much.

I haven't stayed in a caravan since i was 12 I'm 29 now ,but in may we went down to Devon for a week ,and i loved it , although don't think i could do two weeks in a caravan don't like the showers , its like getting a wash in a match box , other than that id do it again . i still like my sun holiday thought but did enjoy the caravan with my family , little trip down memory lane

no way i love caravanning and i love going in a tent wouldnt swap it for algarve whats wrong with the british weather lol no really i love camping and wouldnt change to go abroad

I LOVE it, and wouldn't swap it! 2 weeks in Donegal this July was as good as the Algarve except the beaches were less crowded! But I usually go somewhere like the Algarve in the autumn or spring as well!

I like both. Think i prefer the Algarve though! We have a holiday home there but next holiday will be a caravan on the west coast of Scotland. Different holidays offering different things.

When I was a child I used to love caravaning, now I just hate it. I feel trapped in such a small space, so not only would I swap caravaning for two weeks in the Algarve - I would also swap my husband!!!
