i was there yesterday its good big beach and pier
loads of pubs + shops i like it.!!

sarch_uk
We quite like it but there are better places....

As an aside...
After WW1 my grandfather and a friend used to give pleasure rides from the beach in a biplane (they were both pilots during the war). That was until a storm wrecked their plane and they didn't have any insurance...end of business!

Not that much!! The sea (when it's in) is a muddy colour, the town itself is rather tacky. There's far nicer places to visit.

I used to live near WSM and only ever went there if I had to. Try Clevedon or Portishead instead.

Years ago when 'Tropicano' was open ... we parked on the beach and got stuck.

My Grandmother always went there for her holidays ... and ... always enjoyed it.

we went for the day. very nice. long promenade, cafes nice beach. busy at weekends espescially in the summer.
we were staying at burnham on sea though as the hotels are cheaper, owing to the place not having much in way of tourist attractions.

baby boo
i have only been there once and it was an accident. we were going to butlins in minehead and the sat nav missed a turning of the motoway and we ended up in western super mare. we stopped for a coffee and a quick look round then started the journey back to butlins. it seemed like a nice place with friendly people.

I don't like it at all. A muddy, grey, miserable place. Sorry!

I went there a few years ago yet I can't recall the trip at all! I think it had a nice beach though.

'Er indoors!!
I have not visited Weston-Super-Mare for some years now, but the last time I went, the sea was full of broken cars, and discarded shopping trollies. It was a bit "Blackpoolish" and brash, and not my type of resort. I prefer somewhere quiet, scenic, and up market. Probably why I choose to live in a pretty Cornish village.
