I did,and had the joy of engineering works on South West Trains to contend with. Called up one of my staff to say I may be a little late because of the replacement bus service-only to be informed that I was VERY late.....and the sartorial savvy in Kingston would have to wait 45 minutes for me to open my store....oooops.

i did...had invited my friend round for lunch told her 2oclock...she turns up at one..and i told her off...she has 2 youngsters and they are little terrors so as near to dinner as possible is good (told her 2 oclock last week and she turns up at 12.30 with gang in tow and moaned that lunch was a way off so had too make them all bacon butties to stop them dying of hunger!!!) so was not amused with her today..then had to eat humble pie as i had completely forgot about the damn clocks...she still stayed all day tho...and i was knackered by the time they went...at 6 oclock my time...long day!

I forget every time they go forward or back. It's only when I arrive somewhere an hour late or early that I realise - oops I did it again.

caimilefailte
me !!! and nearly missed my train ha ha ha

Adacadus
Yup.

I was actually at an aftershow party at the time. I'm surprised that no one declared a drunken changing of clocks.

What's more, I keep a clock as GMT, and every time we change to BST, I keep looking at it and thinking "that can't be right."

Pinhead
LOL! why?

The Queen forgot to do hers.

As a result, she's stuck in 1955.

All kidding aside, the Queen is coming to Virginia in May and we're delighted to see here again here in the USA. She is also attending the Kentucky Derby.

I saw the Queen once, when she came to the White House in 1976 to visit President Ford for the US Bicentennial.
