For me, easily Billy C., whose pawky humour can put me in stitches.
At his best, Chic's humour could be a bit silly for my taste, and on the only occasion I saw him live, I thought he was pathetic. That was admittedly near the end of his career, and perhaps he had lost his way, to put it kindly. |

like someone said, billy connolly's name dropping gets annoying...was watching his world tour of the UK thing last night, and he's like "Ohh and LENNY HENDRY said..."
i havent actually heard anything of chic murray though... to be honest i'd bring in someone else and say Frankie boyle is the funniest Glasgwegian ive ever heard. :) |

Billy for me, and he is a top actor as well. He can put such passion into swearing in films - the Man Who Sued God for example. |

neither of them, and i cant stand billy "my good friend woopie goldberg" connolly the professional name dropper that he is! jerry sadowitch, hes glaswegian and about the the only good scottish comedian i can name whos also jewish. but hes a foul mouthed nutcase and i think hes brilliant. |
