I went a couple of months ago, it was quite nice but would probably be better in the summer.

I love Brighton - frequent trips with the wife before our kids were born, in winter and summer. The shopping is varied and really cool, the cafes and restaurants give you anything you could want, and best of all it's friendly. Plus Fat Boy does his gig on the beach every year

What's not to like ?

It was nice about 20 years ago before all the London trendies moved there, they bought with them all the junkie scum and alkie gutter sweepings who create mayhem all over the place. Avoid Brighton!
