Referring to the last comment, the Olympics ARE being held in the East End. That's why they are regenerating the Stratford area because the games will take place there.

London Is Beautiful, But Extremely Expensive To Live In. And Unfortunately, The Cheaper Places To Live Are Quite Unpleasant.
I Love London As A Whole, But I Have Never Really Visited One Of Then 'Rougher' Places There Though.

Places Like Cambridge Are Nice, And Only About A 1hr [ish] Train Journey From Liverpool Street Station.

Phil the Manc (erm from Manchester by any chance?????) I am a born and bred Londoner (East London) and I would agree with Phil on some of the cities Belfast and Dublin, they are fantastic places, Liverpool is great

London is great I love it, but if I were a stranger in town then I don't think I would feel the same way.

i live in south east london and i lovee it, its where ive been brought up so i class it as home no matter what bad things are said about it. its a good place to live but you need to be careful sometimes especially if youre not used to these 'type' of areas.

I live in London. Its very crouded and everywhere you go you get stuck in traffic but its got good shopping centres. =) and to 'fabian292' the olympics are being held in wembley, which is where i live.

i live in london and yes it is a good place to live depending on what part of london you want to live. west london is the most safe place to live because it has the least amount of street crime. east london is the least safest but the thing that makes it the best is because the olimpics are being held there
