Manchester has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years and there is a real buzz about the place now. It has great shopping, great nightlife, theatres, cinemas, museums & art galleries.

I love it. It's the coolest place on the planet.
Only on weekends though, Tuesday nights in town are a bit of a bore, let me tell you.

'Cos I was born there. City play there. It's the most up-and-coming city in England. More to offer than Liverpool or Birmingham. Less arsey than London.

Born here, live here still! Just love it! Loads of shops, good nightlife, low crime (I think it is compared to other places), people are good lol. Mancs are the best!!!!!!!

i dont. to many roughs chavs there

Gary
Born and lived in Manchester all my life...wouldnt live anywhere else in the UK.

Manchester has everything that London has and more.......except the royal family and cockneys........thank god.

i have lived all over the country and manchester is the best place by far. theres so much to do and as for chavs, u get them in any big city like that so thats just a bit general....there's so much to see and it isnt even that expensive for the best nightlife in the country

shrekky
I'm a northerner by heart. born and raised in warrington, but now live in bristol where my wife and son are. spent many years working in manchester on mobile security, and think it really is one of the best places to live and party, too many reasons why.. us northern gits also have a great sense of humour unlike most of these wurzels that i have to put up with now, who are carrott crunching, cider drinking twonks with pickled brains!!

munki
I do-I was born & raised here. Wouldn't live anywhere else!!
Why; the museums,galleries,parks,pubs,clubs,resta... entertainment complexes,Concert venues, the great gay scene....loads to see and do, the people, low crime (where I live),you can never complain that there's nothing to do here.
