They are all different, some of them are really rude! but most of them are just normal, sometimes nice sometime just act like they're so bored and just get on with their job and miserable, you know, just like everyone else but I've only seen few of them are very nice and polite and I've only met 1 bus driver who was so kind, nice and friendly to me, it was Christmas eve's and I was going home about 6pm and I was going to pay my fare and I looked in my purse and I didn't have enough money to pay for bus fare at that time( need more 1 GBP) so I said I'll have to go bank to go get money for him quickly as the ATM just round cor nor and then he said it's alright,and then he said "Merry X' mas" ! and smiles! I couldn't believed that I exactly met the nicest bus driver in UK and I felt so warm and happy. I think maybe cos it was Christmas time or maybe he's just can't be bothered, he he! I dont know but I was happy cos I knew still have really nice people in the world and I hope everyone will be like him no matter which season or times^^ |

yep, i was one till last year! Decided after 7 years it was enough for me but it was a great job. Strange passengers sometimes, and bus groupies exist (for the men anyway!), car drivers at bus stops, used to block'em in! Double deckers were the best. |

I saw a couple of lady bus drivers yesterday on the 180 and 184 routes out of Manchester and they sure looked great! |

probably other bus drivers.Round here the buses do not run to a timetable we think they use a calender.Do they have a herd instinct as they arrive three at a time. |

I haven't travelled on a bus for years, but on Friday I was behind one in my car. I had pulled in behind him as he stopped, and flashed him out. He then proceeded to give me the most elaborate thanks with his hazards. It went on for about a mile, and it was very amusing. So, yes. At the moment, I think bus drivers are great! |
