I love geordies, your accent is brilliant i could listen to you all day, I don't think theres many people who dislike geordies i'm from the north but live in the south and i don' think anyones ever said they dislike geordies.

I don't hate Geordies, but they hate me for confusing them with Scots! And I found the people of Newcastle are probably the friendliest anywhere in UK, even though I'm a southerner! Really impressed with the easygoing attitude, whether on the Metro or in a club.

I am British (from Nottingham), I now live in Greece. I worked for a travel company for 5 years and dealt with tourists from all over the UK. My favourite airport shift was when the NCL flight was arriving and departing, the Geordies are my FAVOURITE Brits! And lots of my colleagues also said the same. My Greek Fiance and his Dad also work with the tourists here, and they LOVE Geordies!!!

BTW - the worst Brits are the Londoners - I hated the LGW flight shift, the passengers from that flight were the most miserable!!!

No, I like Geordies and absolutely love the accent, its so class, I'm from Northern Ireland and generally over here people love the accent.

I really didn't know that they did!! Personally, I love the Geordie accent....and have never had any reason to hate, or slag off a Geordie......you always seem a pretty cheerful bunch to me!!

Actually, I'm Welsh, and love the Geordie's.I'm big buddies with a lot of musicians from Newcastle.Best people in the world, always make friends welcome and they know how to have a good time.
The Maggie is the best pub for live music and great atmosphere.And The Copthorne Hotel is the best I've ever stayed at.

No offence, but the accent is plain terrible and impossible to understand. There is a Geordie in my class though, he's very nice. I just have no idea what he is talking about.
