Well, I know I am going to slagged off for this, but I am british, and believe in free speech.

This country is flooded with immigrants, who come here, pay tax, then get it back when they leave to go home, get child benefit from the UK for kids they have in their own country, will NOT abide by our laws, you just need to read the papers, certainly here in Aberdeen, its FULL of reports of immigrants drink driving, no insurance, nor driving licence, nor road tax or mot, causing fights. They have no respect for the UK., they are here to bleed it dry, and then go home, As prev said, there is no GREAT in Britain anymore.

And we wonder why our British people are leaving like rats on a sinking ship.

and before anyone suggest it, I am NOT racist, I am a brit, who wants his country back. (would we get away with behaving like this in their country?)

babybear4ever_2003
because of all the pakis takin over and the bums comin here cos everythings free here there bleedin urs dry all on beafits takin everything using free hospitals itsf****ked up i so wanna leave the uk too its not for british people anymore

Coz were sick of the whole country being taken over by immigrants. Too many of them here living off our taxes, being rude, causing trouble and too many stabbings etc.
Sick of it they have taken the Great out of Great Britain.
And yes im planning on moving within the next 2 years.

Cool! A subject to really vent on, where to begin?
High taxes, rising cost of living. The usual grumble that everyone does.
High crime stats, to many immergrants etc another common moan.
Not enough opportunities and jobs etc, same old, same old.
Ah! got it. spineless, nambi pambi, bloody do gooders, criminals having more rights than victims, rising knife crime because social bloody services say you cant give them a good kicking in self defence coz the dint go to skool an lern fings. Blame the system, when its our bloody system that we put in place? The police do nothing because they can do nothing, the courts do nothing because the can do nothing, why because of the "They need help and not punishment " brigade. Crime no longer has consequence let alone punishment. Schools taught through authority rather than understanding,(the world travels around the sun because Sir/Miss said so) now they have no authority. And NOW you want to grumble, Now you want to leave, you made this mess people, get with the program, fight back ,dont run away. Its our country, we were once proud, a fighting nation, now we're just a bunch of winging, moaning bloody do gooders, where's ya pride, slap that gobby little oik, report him, get him lifted, turning a blind eye didnt work, a pat on the head gets you a smack in the teeth today. Respect born out of fear, We cant touch the kids, the police cant touch the kids, the courts cant touch the kids, welcome to anarchy my friends, lord of the flies. and GOOD BYE UNITED KINGDOM, we let you down!!!!

andy86
its not really the UK anymore. any britishness is being weeded out with PC stuff..

I would not leave...Be patient, the day is nearly here when we can get rid of the middle class hand jobs we have as a government at the moment

Its the racist ones who think this coutry is for white people and that mioritys are taking over when Britain is 92% white. The ones who leave are the ones making this country shiit and there doing a good job by peaking their bags and leaving

It's simple, the government has pushed us too far and taking the pi$$. Very low standard of living, high inflation and low wages. I have to work 24/7 as a carer as I can't afford to even rent no more.Lived abroad for years, came back and have hated the county ever since-sorry 'loath' is more appropriate. I'm now desperately trying to get out again but with no qualifications and my age working against me it's hard. I'd rather slit my wrists if I am condemned to the UK the rest of my life, and I'm being serious!!!!

I'm not English but I lived there from 2002-'03. Some of the top complaints I heard abroad were:

The rainy weather
The cost of living
Rising violence of youth
Desire to see the states and/or other parts of the world

As an American I think the US and the UK both have their fair share of flaws.

Troll #47
Yeah mos' def 'cos this country's gone to the chocolate logs

I'm living abroad at the moment and have been for 6 years. I didn't leave because of anything in particular to do with the UK, just for a taste of travel, but now I'm away I like it. I can't rule out returning to the UK altogether, but it'd have to be to a nice place, which is a bit impossible at the moment with the high property prices.

if i had the chance i too would leave the uk! my reasons would be violent crime, imigrations and its effect on job prospects hospitals and schools. fuel costs (i know thats a world problem but there are plenty of countrys that have it cheaper) and the death of family life in this country. not to mention the lousy weather!!!!

I have always been very proud to be english and it breaks my heart to say this but at the moment england sucks!!!!

i always have wanted to leave, my husband doesn't. UK is depressing think brits want a slower pace of life X

NotDelia
Many Brits are leaving the UK because they're fed up of how they perceive Britain. They want to go elsewhere for a better life for themselves and their children. Canada is probably the most popular destination, but it's difficult to get into (four year waiting list and loads of paperwork to get through first). Spain and Bulgaria are popular too.

The main factors these days for leaving seem to be crime, cost of living, and even climate.

Would I leave? Yes! I did it years ago.

I left right after uni. I just couldn't stand it anymore. It felt like Germany in 1933 must have felt like. Glad I got out, I have a new life now.

Left the UK over 3 years ago.......everytime I come over for a visit I see how its slipped that little bit lower and British people seem that little bit more fed up with how the come 2nd.

Mikester123
I think the UK is depressing, the weather is awful, resession is coming which is causing the cost of living to go up and sometimes I would love to move to Canada or Australia where the weather is brillant, the cost of living is fair and it seems like a brillant place to live.

star_girl
andy86 has got it in one!!!!!!!!

because it's basically finished unless some one takes control 'you are over taxed 'over governed 'and any odds and sods are allowed in leading to the NHS being overloaded and the spread of things like TB [not racist it's a fact] and we have already left got fed up [being self employed] of being singled out because we are british bacause we understand what council officials are saying where other people pretend not to understand and ignore the council

Rebeccca R
just take a look at the monkey's running this country its a joke, i never though i would leave my lovely green england, i am now moving to morocco if you live in england i suggest you get out quick time before you have no money left.... its a joke!

Conor O
Yes i definitly would.
Here's why:
Bad weather
overpopulation
The sheer greyness of the cities, everywhere you look theres a 1970's tower block.
Lack of countryside and open space.
Most people live in housing estates or apartments, which are usually unattractive and not appealing to live in, because your not allowed to build a house in the countryside because there isnt a lot of it left.
Snobbery
Growing amount of violence and crime from the youth.
The UK government cant seem to think for itself. The UK might as well be an american state. The way the prime minister sucks up to who ever is in power in the US in an attempt to make the UK seem as important as it once was.
The UK's unforgivable involvement in the iraq war. Thousands of UK soldiers died. No weapons of mass destruction were found. Also the group responsible for 9/11 (al qeuida) are a saudi arabian group, (but the US wont attack saudi arabia because saudi arabia gives the US a lot of oil in exchange for protection by the US) and even tony blair admitted afterwards that the war on iraq was not justified. so many UK and iraqui citizens lost their lives.
Thats why i would leave
