Why did scotland change their capital city from glasgow to edinburgh?
Edinburgh has been the capitol of Scotland for 100s of years the town of Dunfermline was the original Scottish capital - Glasgow never has been - it is the largest city but working on that New York is the Capital of the USA and Sydney of Australia (it is Canberra) or Montreal of Canada (it is Ottowa), Auckland of NZ (it is Wellington) don't assume the biggest city is automatically the capital

edinbrugh has been the capital of scotland since 1701. befor that it was scone (sc-oo-n).
also- 100 yaers ago glasgow was a small fishing village.
