But really, aren't we over-generalizing just a bit? I mean, none of my neighbors wear Stetsons, and I think I've only seen one pair of plaid trousers in the last month or two.
If you visit places like Boston, San Francisco & Minneapolis, you'll find many fit people. Just stay away from Wichita, Houston, Chicago, & unfortunately, Cleveland & Columbus, OH. It can be a bit frightening for the uninitiated.
And yes, I've got a passport. Unfortunately, it's with my keys somewhere. Still haven't found those, either, & I'm out of fried pork rinds. |

Hmm.. well I've never really thought about Brits having bad teeth. The thought never crossed my mind. I've been to GB and never noticed a big problem.
Also, for your generalization thingy.. I'm not fat, I talk in a medium to low voice and I don't wear plaid trousers or stetson hats. But wait.. didn't plaid come from hmm England? I would certainly rather have to wear a stetson than a bowler. :) |

Us brits may have bad teeth but the yanks have there problems of being well over weight.An often thing i see on tv they say the u.s are eating them selfs to death.And that spells GREED! |

i can say that i have a perfect smile and it isn't because of veneers. just like i am sure all british people don't have perfect teeth, all americans are not fat. i am a size 2 and fabulous! why would you ask this question anyways...did someone hit a nerve? are you teeth not up to par perhaps? i lived in england for three years and loved it, so i know all british people don't have jacked up teeth. maybe, for those that haven't been there, they got that idea from watching 'pirates of the caribbean' one too many times. |
