I'm not from England but lived there for 2 years. I don't live there now but would at the drop of a hat. Whatever you finding disgusting there, you'll find that other countries probably have the same if not worse problems.

Because we have a lot of scruffy bastards living here and people coming in from all sorts of different countries who have no respect for what they have been given. England has gone down hill a lot in the last 30 years from what i've heard and its time someone does something about it rather then listening to a moaning government not knowing there head from there ****.

I live in the Midlands about 12 miles from Birmingham, and 6 miles from Dudley, in what is called The Black Country (named for the old factory chimneys blackening the sky).

I don't read the tabloid press, I don't watch Eastenders or Coronation Street or any soap, for that matter, since they choose to point their microscope at a small sample of the British people. I think that there is no-where on this planet I would rather be than England (even with our awful weather).

I suggest you move then....I live in the Lake District, and it as far away from a disgusting cesspit as you can imagine...it is beautiful...magnificent countryside, lovely pubs, excellent shops, history, art.....so stop dragging down this wonderful country....not from London are you? It's only a mess in the big cities, (no including London). The County is beaituful.
Also, it's even-more beautiful where the true Brit lives. Not where it's taken over by drunk-young teen chavs, or by the Polish / Muslim seeking to hate everybody and everything.
Try coming to Lincolnshire, to me it's one of the nicest places in the United Kingdom.
But as someone said above, England has gone down hill over the years, but we should all have hope, that The United Kingdom, of Great Britain, and Nortern Ireland. WILL claim back what is hers. :)

People who make stupid comments such as the above are usually those who can't make a go of their own life (ie make a mess of it) and hence it's easier to blame where they are than their own shortcomings. Or they see things such as chav infestion, and can't seem to see that even those cretins are just a minority.
Where i live it's great--wouldn't want to be anywhere else & I've travelled all over the world.
