Essex is a great county, beautiful scenery and genuine friendly people. Like ANY other county there are bad spots, ridiculous people (like that Chantelle from BB that ruin it for every other woman in Essex!). The old 'theory' of white stiletto's and slags is rubbish. You get that in every county in the UK!
I have lived in Essex for 5 years and I love it, and am proud to say I live here.
People who do not know or understand should not diss on Essex.

Essex isn't that popular - in fact it's the most ridiculed county in the UK. Unfairly i say. I went there recently (Wivenhoe) and it's beautiful. Essex girls are joked about being slags, but that's a lazy 80's cliche. |
