They see the uk as one of the most lenient countries to come into. We welcome them and say have our jobs, take our homes, flood our crippling NHS and pack our classrooms. The goverment are ****.

Cause they're too chicken to say no to them..... they'd rather give the immigrants whatever they want, but when it comes to people born here, they don't care.

The government is to blame, European pressure. Any party that guarantees a maximum of 10 thousand immigrants a year would win an election hands down.. Plus immediate ejection for any criminal offence..

cause we're a tolerant country with social security and free NHS service. plus the migrants say the jobs over here are better paid for the same job in their coutry

this is one of those Qs that can set everyone off, its one of the biggest arguements in the uk at the min..... its a joke realy what the government are allowing, its vertually impossible to find a job, home etc.... but they ahev all been given away to the polish etc....what can we do but vote, trouble is our votes get us no where do they.....they need to close the doors to this country and get it back on track before it calapses.

I dont know but it seems the government care more about the people they let in rather that the people who've been here all along. I live in Scotland and love to go up North, last time i went everything was being run by polish people who couldn't understand me. Im sure there's lots of people who live in the little towns i visit that would love to work in their local Hotels, Shops and Restaurants but there are no jobs left for the locals.

I think is was a mistake to allow 2,000,000 Muslims to settle in the UK from failed Islamic countries.

All other large groups of invaders in past centuries were from successful and for the time technologically advanced countries. In any case not one group in the past was anywhere near 2 million, they numbered only a few 100 thousand. In 1066 the population of what we now call the UK was only 1 million, we have twice that number of Muslims alone in the UK now.

Why do you think that the government has not had the referendum on Europe? Because both they and Brussels are waiting for the Immigrants and those in favour of staying in the EU to out number those who would leave. At present the balance is probably 60% wanting to leave to 40% wanting further integration. Another 5 million tip tha ballance and we will lose our country. that is the reality of the situation.

Comparing to other any EU countries, it is so much easier to find a job here! Migrants are ready to get pay peanuts as a British National would not want to do the job for the money they get paid.

good question and judging by the replies, no one is happy about it. we will sink under the weight. our schools and hospitals are already floundering. they will drag us down to the state of the countries theyve left, then they will go home with our money in their bank and leave us to wallow in the mire. thanks labour.

Britain is a soft touch, its known throughout Europe, go to Britain, get money, house. and let britains pay.
our goverment is too soft, we should be like the Americans, Australians. before any one comes to this Country, they must have a job, home, a months wages to live on and the price of a return ticket home.
My father came from the Republic of Ireland in 1952, when he came over he had to have a job, plave to live, and so much money to live on, until he got his first wage packet.
to answer your question we're a soft touch as a country, and our goverment, dont care what we think.

Because the current government doesn't care about the heritage of the native people of a once proud nation. It hits home when people who have been out of the country for a while speak about it, such as morrisey who recently said that the governement have removed any remaining identity of the British People. He pointed out that if you were in Germany you be be able to tell by the people, culture etc but if you were dumped on the average street in London,after being blindfolded with no Street or shop signs you wouldn't have a clue where you were with all the different languages and races. Labour keep the open door policy because they know that come election day these immigrants will vote for them so thier extended family can come in the near future and henceforth keep them in power because most British people don't bother voting anymore.

To put it in perspective, i work at Manchester Airport, and EVERYDAY 24 Pakistani international Airlines planes land, full to the brim, with Pakistanis that are here to stay. 24 loads of around 400 people, everyday, one city, one airport, its disgraceful. Think about the 20 odd or so other Airport's across the country with similar statistics.

England is a "soft touch" and everyone knows it. How can you blame people for wanting an "easy ride". We have to blame our pathetic government, and also the people who voted them in. I am voting B.N.P. in the next election, as I cannot sit by and see my Country being stripped of it's identity, and I am sick of bowing down to the needs of billions of foreigners, when our own people are going without.

I read in the paper today, that our nurses are to stop what they are doing, to go and turn Muslim patients towards Mecca, 5 times a day. Whatever next? I cannot take much more of this, it's just not right.

There are all sorts of reasons why migrants have always sought to come to this country but they've been doing it for generations. Some of those who join you in moaning about the latest phase are, no doubt, descendants of earlier immigrants.

I just wonder whether you would have the same worries if they immigrants were more like "us"? I bet you and the other worrieds wouldn't have a problem with an influx of immigrants with white skin who spoke English.

It's not because of the Government, it's because lots of Eastern European countries are now members of the EU (that's European Union) - so they have the right to come in to any European member country to work.
They're taking over the houses are they - my God what papers do you read??

seriously, it's all to do with market forces. If all of the British low life spongers were to get off their backsides and take the jobs that the Poles come here and do, then there would be no work for the migrants - so they wouldn't come here. You should also ask yourself why are they "taking the jobs" - why do they get these jobs over the Brits?
