Actually, no you aren't better than us, and neither are we better than you. Our countries are as bad as each other. Putting too much effort into foreign affairs, and neglecting to govern our own countries properly. The British government for example funding their part in Afghanistan and Iraq, when back home, the NHS is going under. Maybe this is Blairs solution to the 'Pension Timebomb'; send as many people as we can to fight in war and hope not too many come back to recieve pensions.

Im sure as many old people get robbed in america, its just so common its not news anymore. Getting like that here. Old people are fragile and easy targets because typically they dont trust banks and so keep a fair amount of cash in their homes.

I'll tell you the problem, and i'm not saying this because i'm pissed at your ignorance, but the problem is that we are becoming more like America. American culture is spreading over here. Greed, laziness and hostility. Its why people are getting robbed and stabbed, its why our kids are almost as fat as yours, its why gun crime is on the rise. Wouldnt suprise me if sometime soon we become the 53rd state and no longer called Britain, but 'New Britain' or 'Little America' or something.
