The decision about the use of the Euro depends on the decision of Parliament. England does not have a Parliament.

I hope not but the exchanging pounds in to euros is becoming so weak recently, if it continues to fall as in 1 pound = 1 euro then there wont be much reason to use the pound. The pound is still strong against most currencies like the dollar. To the euro though its getting weaker by the day!!

not while the pound is still stronger than the euro.

once the euro equals the pound, which is looking likely to fairly soon, then i dont see any reason in not switching to the euro.

72OldsCutty
Why would you? Isn't the pound stronger than the euro against the almighty U.S. dollar ?

magswren
