I live there and there are different types of Liverpool accent. the chirpy happy and the rather sad it is from these that most of the humour comes from. When have been away for a couple of weeks I could almost kiss the first one I hear. It's usually a man and I don't want to get my face punched. However, there is also the ugly nasal "dead 'ard" one and I cannot abide it. The ones using it are usually fairly horrible anyway. The natives are friendly |

the Liverpool accent and Scouse accent are quite different as the scouse accent is quite nasal eg Colleen Rooney and mainly used by people trying to mimic the Liverpool accent |

I am a Scouser.... i think that the accent from actual scousers is fabulous but someone from outside of liverpool doing an accent is just horrific ha ha... i agree thought a really nasal scouse accent is terrible and really puts down our reputation xx |
