Of course. Everyone buried in a graveyard has been peacefully laid to rest - it's the very last place you would ever see a ghost (whatever film-makers and authors might want you to believe!)

agius1520
They're dead, they're not going to come alive and attack you, i'd be more worried about the drunks hanging around.

liongirl_40
Yes I don't see why not.

wouldnt bother me at all if i was with someone, but never alone as to many weirdo's out there, so if you thinking about doing it, dont go alone.

cyanne2ak
Hell yeah! I'd definitely do it, and I have done it! It's actually very peaceful.

dark_phoenix
I did that once on Halloween. The gate was locked but we climbed over it. Guess what? Nothing happened.

Dave B
yes I would. dead people won't hurt you. And nor will skinny teenage goths.

walk in a grave yard, hey I've slept in many a graveyard all over the uk, no problem, the dead can't harm you, the living can. spent many of my early days in them so tranquil and peaceful, the spirits protect you, unless you are bad minded and malicious with intent.it is a safe haven when you got a troubled mind.maybe not so these days coz so many a**holes wreck then and dis them .R.I.P to all my spiritual freind, peace out.

I have done it. Not in a city either, it was a village outside of Swindon and very dark. The experience was most peacful and safe, which was more rthan could be said for walking in Swindon at that time. Biggest and very real hazard was tripping over kerb stones around graves and bumping into fallen headstones. The residents didn't mind though.

srinsrinsri
No way...not at all....not even if you offer me a billion!!

I have as a teen walked in the grave yard many times. My b/f now husband at the time use to take long walks there. Now most grave sites are posted closed after dark or some are locked. To me there was nothing scary about the grave yard.

Sure, I'd do it.

Alison of the Shire
I used to walk through at sunset, please understand I was going through my 'troubled teen phase' at the time, I thought it was atmospheric in a eerie sort of way! A year later me and my mates went in for a dare in the pitch black and it was HORRIBLE, the lads had locked the gate and started making ghostie noises, which sent my imagination runnning wild over what could be following us.
Nowadays I can't really be bothered to do it, but it wouldn't frighten me if I had to though.

Not likely in the city. All of them close before dark, and the gates are locked.
