I met my husband at West Port Plaza (specifically, at Patrick's). I also met a lot of men at Cardinal's games, at various Soulard restaurants, and at Fast Eddie's back when I was single.

When I lived in St. Louis there was a club called "Social Singles". Every week it was held at different places. Sometimes it was at West Port Plaza, sometimes at the Marriott, etc. It was always at a nice place and the turn out was always good. It's a singles club where only singles go to, where they always had a live band. Bob Quban played there quite often. They had a bar where you could order drinks. At that time it cost $5.00 to get in. There were 2 age groups. One was for the younger generation and the other was for the older generation. That way you would be in the group to meet people in your age group. I really enjoyed going and I met a lot of people. I think the Marriott was at West Port Plaza. You can call the hotel to find out if the Social Singles group still exist and if it does you can probably get a phone number to call for more information. If you really want to meet women who are from all over St. Louis ....THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. THERE ARE LOTS AND LOTS OF WOMEN THERE.

When I was single here's where I met some of the most fun men. Playing in a mixed volley ball or soft ball league, at work, at the grocery store, at the hardware store, through friends, at a college where I was taking graduate classes. Of course you can always meet them at bars but those relationships dont usually last more than a short time and are usually just a physical attraction. Its too hard to try to actually talk to someone to see if you have anything in common in a noisy bar where they are most likely a little drunk. So where you go to meet women depends on what you want to accomplish.

Where at in St. Louis? It's such a big area to cover if you include the surrounding. There is Downtown on the Landing, the Central West End, Westport Palza, Laffeyette Square, the list goes on and on.

I know this sounds weird, but I heard that the Saturday Mass at Immacolata Catholic church is a see-and-be-seen pick up place.

But I guess you would need to be Catholic for that.

Depends on the quality of the women you're looking for. Cafe Eau in the Chase Park Plaza is a real meat market for people who can afford the cover. If you're looking to simply get laid, check out some of the bars on the landing.
