The southpark blame Canada song is a parody of American reactionary politics and is not really an attack on canada.

Now that you mention it, Canadians are a little weird even more weird than our other neighbors the Mexicans. That's okay though, I love weirdness.
I've only heard one joke about Canadians and it was really lame.

I don't think Canadians are weird. I live in Wisconsin, and lots of times when I travel to other states, people make fun of my accent and say that I sound like I'm Canadian. So I kind of understand what you mean.

I think its because Canada has a lot of stupid laws. Also America has a lot of rednecks (country folk) in it who are uncultured and closed minded.

Just because you live in the great white north does not make you weird.
It is not possible to say a group of people feel the same way about anything.
Depending on the jokes, it can be a means of showing affection, or not.
I have several Canadian friends and just because I mail them the weather page from the paper when their temperature is below zero and mine is 70F doesn't;t mean I don't like them.

Sometimes its because of the way they say stuff and I make fun of them because I have an idea of canadians being all fat and talking werid but thats america for ya!

I'm American and I do not find them weird. I guess Americans make jokes about Canadians because they probably view them as our little weak brother (not trying to offend anyone) to the north.

They're kinda weird. My friend's dad tried to enter Canada. They wouldn't let him in because of a speeding ticket he got 30 years ago. I doubt it's true though.

I've never heard a joke about Canadians or Canada. I alway thought of Canada as a beautiful place when I visited and I thought the people were very kind.

all over the world, people joke about the slower-paced areas. in cities everywhere, people joke about the suburbanites, and in suburbs people joke about rural areas. in new york, everyone makes fun of new jersey. in new jersey, everyone makes fun of pennsylvania. in pennsylvania, everyone makes fun of ohio. in ohio, everyone makes fun of indiana. there's nothing strange about canada to americans - except, of course, for the limited pollution, politeness, and low population density.
