Ethnic food, especially in the Bay Area, is usually cheap and good. Chinese and Mexican food is everywhere. San Jose probably has a lot of Vietnamese food. Or come over here to Fremont, with the best Thai ("Banh Thai") and Indian ("Shalimar"). Shalimar is really cheap, but watch out, it's spicy!

This place is crazy! For $9.50 per adult, you get all you can eat from one of largest buffet selections I have ever seen! To give you an idea of the sheer size of selection, it's like a supermarket, yet everything is alrealy cooked and beautifully laid out for you to take!
All kinds of soups, BBQ, salads, cheeseburgers, seafood ect.-all the goods! Now I dont wan't to make you drool, but how about dessert?
Puddings, pies, cakes, doughnuts, cookies and ice cream! :)
This place is worth a visit, not just for the food, but for the atmosphere! Plenty of other things to see+do in the area if you're the type who likes to travel.
