There's not as much snow as people say.

And because Colorado is at such a high elevation, the snow melts really quickly.

You might want to brush up on the Broncos, the Nuggets, the Avalanche and the Rockies.

It's nothin wrong with that, I think that it's great if that is the case, some people don't always like hot weather.
Go for it.

No your not crazy Co is a beautiful state and has awesome mountains. I love places in the mountain where it might be warm during the day but pull a blanket over at night. And really winter in the mountains isn't really as cold as some people think.

Not at all, my sister wants to move there to. For one thing it is about a change, another is that there are actually four seasons there, and it's beautiful state.

No your not crazy. Just be prepared for ALOT of SNOW. I'm not kidding, it snows like crazy down there. Even in the summer time, so it will be a big climate change for you. BRING the winter attire cause you will need it. When it not snowing it is beautiful there because Colorado has 4 seasons. And even when it is snowing the mountains are georgious. I lived there for 10 years before I moved to Hawaii. Just be glad you not moving to Texas because it is way to hot down here. Have fun living there!

jasonrichard08
I support you 100%! It does get hot here in Florida and I think (I've never been there though) that Colorado is great! They have all the seasons, beautiful terrain, a wonderful history, and many sites to see. I wish you the best of luck.

Are you crazy? Castle Rock is about 30 miles from downtown denver and anytime you want to drive to denver, the traffic is awful. You better have a lot of patience if you plan to move.

john denver lives there hes cool

I don't know how it is to live there, but my husband and I used to go there every summer for vacation. It's a beautiful state. I have always wanted to live in Colorado, but have never had the nerve to do it. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you.

Smitty
I like snow but it sucks when it always is snowing if you do move don't plan on playing any sports except indoor basketball.

Shy
Its a great idea. Four seasons and the works. Dont worry too much about the snow. Have fun in Aspin and Wale

This is so weird! I was born in Tampa Bay and go to see my dad there a few times a year. I live in Parker, CO right now (which is near Castle Rock). I think it is a great place to live and Castle Rock has a great skatepark. The houses and taxes are pretty $high$ though. You also should prepare for snow. In fifth grade we had a major blizzard and got tuesday through friday out of school. This year we didn't even get a snow day. The mountains are great to go up to and you can ski in the winter or tobaggan in the summer. I hope you can have a good life where ever you live.
Ciao,
Lauren
