if you want to live somewhere quiet, hot in the summer and snowey in the winter, i would suggest a small city somewhere in the outskirts of New York City. You would have the quietness that you want and you would be really close to the great shopping areas in the city. You could experience the city life without living in the city!!!

I'd say either Northern CA or Colorado.

Wisconsin is hot in the Summer and Cold in the winter...

We have all 4 seasons...

Somewhere in New England, we have the best of both climes. It's warm and can be humid in the summer and now that it's winter (I live in NH) we just got 8+ inches of snow and it's gorgeous, yet I know in 5 months time I will be at the beach taking in the rays in 80* degree weather!

You should move to Kentucky its a rural area and has hot summers and snowey winters. Record high was about 104 and low was in the negatives.

California_Girl
well try northern california instead of southern california and u will get the weather u want, but remeber all the theme parks are in southern california

Colorado or Michigan are two states that come to mind right away.

Colorado has the Rockies and all the snow you want year round. It's very beautiful there.
Michigan has the Great Lakes (awesome beaches), it's very hot in the summer, 11,000 lakes, and the Upper Peninsula, which has excellent snow 5-6 months out of the year. The Lower Peninsula is very snowy, too. We're supposed to get 6-12" tonight here in the Detroit area.

Colorado, Nebraska, North West Texas, New York(sometimes) North Nevada and the other states or iffy, sometimes too hot and sometimes no snow

good luck

I'd suggest northern Indiana. Several areas of with small towns located on lakes. Summers are hot and busy on weekends. Winters are very snowy and quiet.

I've heard Idaho is a great place. My family and I travelled to Sun Valley over the winter, it's beautiful. A lot of celebrities go there during the winter season. Beautiful colours, in my opinion!

I would need more information because it depends what your definition of hot is and how snowy you want it to be. It also depends on whether you like to drive everywhere you go or need to have public transportation.
