I've seen Barbary Coast, center strip, offer some amazing prices, especially in December.

Also, the Stratosphere,, north strip, will match any price you find online.

The Excalibur has good week day rates too, south strip. Also, Casino Royale, next to The Venetian, has decent week day prices.

nenalovesmiles
Excalibur - Is right on the strip, in front of the MGM and next to the New York New york.
I got a flyer with a coupon just call and ask for the "bright Lights offer" their # is
1 877 868-5464. There rooms with this coupon are between $149 amd $41 at night depending on the day you r going.

Enjoy vegas....

Flamingo Hilton or Tropicana if you like hanging out at the pool. Flamingo is centrally located. Tropicana is all the way at one end. If the Frontier is still there, theyll have the cheapest room

I satyed at the Monte Carlo once and I remember it being reasonable. Also have stayed at the Stardust in the tower and it was adequate and it is right across the street from the best restaurant ever! The peppermill coffee shop... Yum.

I've stayed at the Star Dust & it was OK you walk back through a garden walkway to get to rooms & only way to get to them is by going through the casino .

Hello:

Go to http://www.grab2travel.com
Go to Hotels section.

Try "SmartSearch" feature. You can enter your trip detail once and can compare rates on multiple major travel sites from one place. I like it.. You can add it into favorite for future use..to avoid hassel..

Tropicana, Flamingo Hilton or Circus Circus

Circus Circus is where we always stay...go every year. Although near the end of the strip, it's within walking distance of most of the other hotels. It's cheap and rooms are great. Stratosphere is also cheap, but right at the end of the strip...Walking to the strip at night could prove dangerous.

Believe it or not, the MGM Grand has great rates and great rooms! What I do is go to all the hotels' websites, and see who is the cheapest. If there is a huge convention or concert etc. that hotel will be expensive, so check around, but PLEASE dont stay at the Tropicana or Barabry Coast they are "Vegas Dirty" and that is bad. I wont even gamble there. Try MGM, NYNY, Mirage. Oh and I forgot about TI, they ALWAYS have great rates. Check them out too.

The Stardust is good and cheap and if you don't have to stay on the strip...you can get some good deals at Hard Rock Cafe

The Gold Coast is nice and not too expensive. Make sure you go to the Double Down Saloon. Coolest place in Vegas.....not your ordinary bar. And not a club. Thank God.

vegas_iwish
Then why stay on the Strip? Wasted $$. If not staying in the room much Circus-Circus or Excalibur fine but could save more if would realize no reason to stay on Strip.

Summer Breeze
One of the least expensive places to stay on the strip is Circus Circus. However, the rooms are disgusting and the buffet is horrible. If you're planning on going during the week try the Monte Carlo. Beautiful hotel and rooms, good food, thin walls. We could hear the entire conversation of the people next door. Luxor and Excalibir have reasonable rates. As well as the Sahara, Flamingo, and even The Rio. It just depends on what part of the strip you want to stay on and the time of the week you plan on traveling.

suebaker70
the strip is ****, go downtown

On the strip? The tropicana works for best rates. The Stardust will close at the end of this month. One more nice place bites the dust

A cheap hotel on the strip is Circus Circus. Also you need to learn to spell.

try the tropicana hotel. you can get a decent room for $US 50.00
a night which includes 2 for 1 show tickets to folies bergere, the longest running vegas show. Also nice pool area and on the main intersection of tropicana and the strip. Enjoy!!

I went to Vegas for the first time in February. We stayed at the Luxor, which was very reasonably priced, and we had the best time of our lives. I used a travel website that advertised their rates as being the lowest, and offered a cash rebate if you found a cheaper rate. Sure enough, I went to the official Luxor website, which advertised a cheaper rate, sent it to the travel website, and got money back.

It really doesn't matter where you stay in Vegas. You will be so busy, you'll only use your hotel to sleep! But I highly recommend Luxor. It wasn't terribly cheesy, while still giving off the larger-than-life Vegas vibe. Have fun!

Jenyfer C
if you look cheesy up in the dictionary, it will have a picture of Vegas

aimstir31
If you don't mind staying downtown Fremont street try the Las Vegas club. They run specials. Good luck and have fun!!! I'm sure you will.

Penguin Gal
If it's doesn't matter where you stay, just stay at the cheapest place on the strip
