try pigeon forge Tennessee. the smokey mountains are beautiful,
there is Dolly-wood, and the land is just breath taking.
I loved it there, and it is very reasonably priced. not sure where you are from and how far you are willing to drive, but it is definitely romantic. especially if you rent a little secluded cabin. there are a lot of things to do in the town, and there are cabin rentals EVERYWHERE!! go on line and type in pigeon forge, and see what you come up with. here are some web sites that you can look at for some ideas:)

if that's too far, or not in your budget, try going to a fantasy hotel. or fanta suite, or there are hotels called "the sybaris" they can be expensive, but they are soooo neat!! type that in your search, the rooms are so cool. there are even some that have your own pool and waterfalls. go on line and check some of these out. think that you might find something that you like. hope this helps

get on google.com and type in bed and breakfast or romantic vacations or romantic getaways for some great ideas. I personally like to just go to a log cabin and enjoy the nature a bit for a romantic vacation. pack some candles and pick up something to cook at the cabin, bring a blanket and whether it's summer or winter you can enjoy a nice cozy fire. In the summer we just crank up the air to make it slightly chilly and in the winter....that's the absolute best time. I'm not one of those to count out building a fire just becaue it's not winter time. It's romantic. So anytime is a good time to build a fire or make one of your own with your man. meooow! :-) Pick up some strawberries and cool whip and have a field day with the spray can....

If you're in the US a cruise to up the East Coast is cheap and also to the Bahamas. I recently went to Alaska and it was beautiful. It is, however, a bit more expensive. Other places that would be nice are the Poconos, PA; Hawaii; anywhere in Europe; Also try combining your interests with the person's you are going with.

Carmel and Monterey, California.

Start in Los Angeles and drive up the coast stopping in Santa Barbara at the Madonna Inn.

But not in this weather. Wait until January.

A beach. Late night walks on the shore, dinner on the boardwalk...

It depends on what you want to spend. Go comping about 2 hours min away from your home. You don't have to go far to have a romantic thime. And you can make that the place to go for all your aniversaries.

melinda_rn2006
Choose something original for the both of you. For example, rent a cottage or a cabin. One of the best getaways I had involved a nice log cabin that included a fire place and hot tub. It can make for a romantic getaway just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday world!!
