I live in Livermore. We bought a house here last December, moving here from San Francisco because my husband's company moved near French Camp. I am born & raised SF chic.

I love it here! Nice neighbor's and everything is so convienent - 2 Lucky's, 2 Safeways, Trader Joe's, 4 Starbuck's, Dairy Queen, Coldstone, Wineries, Target, Wal Mart, Mervyn's, Kohl's. Cute small towny downtown area. 2 movie theaters.

It gets cold at night because we are so inland but can get very hot in the summer. At least a 20 - 30 degree difference in temperature from SF.

Traffic can suck going west in the morning commute and raelly sucks going east in the evening commute. But if you know street/short cuts then no problem.

If you need anything else let us know what information you are looking for.
