I would suggest the Imperial Palace. It is not luxurious but clean and not expensive. The location is one of the best on the strip.

Circus Circus, The Imperial Palace, and The Stratosphere are all good hotels for people on a budget. Clean rooms, good food, good service, and good location. I recommend all of them to you.

It depends what you mean by good! lol They all offer varying facilities and have different people in mind. For example - Circus-Circus is great if you have children as there is loads for them to do. I have stayed at Stardust which i really liked because it was affordable, decent and a little way away from the centre of the strip. Weirdly the tropicana is quite expensive and yet quite run down. Excalibur was a reasonable compromise, not too expensive but lots of facilities.

Imperial Palace is good because of it's central location, and it's inexpensive. And inexpensive doesn't mean it's a dive, it's certainly a great place to stay.

Palms - it's a blast!!! :)

I just booked a room at the Rio for $59. Its a bit off the strip, but its a Harah's casino and has a free shuttle bus that takes you to the strip (other Harah's locations) And the buffet is great !

Mike
do you have price range in mind and where on the strip you want to be. Mandalay bay was having a nice special $65 a night but its at the end of the strip next to the luxor.

bally's is pretty economical, and the rooms are nice, should be able to book for under $100 a night and its right in the middle of the strip. New York new york is also a nice mid prices hotell, should be right about $100 a night. You can get paris for about $150 a night. and bellagio if you book in advance you can get for about $160.

Try Treasure Island. Awesome rooms, great bed, and middle of the stri. Rated by most travel sites as a 4 Star. You can get an awesome deal for the regular room, using DIRECTTI as a booking code.

Ballys, Bills Gambling Hall and Casino, Harrah's all right on the strip and really good with reasonable rates and good facilities. Also Circus Circus and Riveara also nice but further down the strip but can be really good rates offered.

Leilani
you really should stay at the palms its very pretty (:

My daughter just booked a room for the end on March on a Monday and Tuesday for $40.00 a night at the Flamingo for her and her boyfriend. Right on the strip.

I've heard bad things about the Imperial Palace... so that depends.
The places I stay most often (on a budget) would be Luxor, New York New York, and the Monte Carlo. They all have nice, clean rooms, and save for the MC, there is always stuff to do within the casino. NY NY has the best parking, if that's of any consequence to you.

srracvuee
Yes Circus Circus but its not 5 star and if you have kids then thats your place

ask your hotel receptionist there for offers and leaflets. Depending on the time of your visit.
