No.
It most likely going to go up further for the next two years. The tension in Iraq and Iran will not be resolved for some time. This tension is scary the investors and sending prices higher. |

Since we have a holiday at the end of May, I think prices will only go up. We have enough oil in this country for everyone to pay $1.50 per gallon, but the government won't allow the oil to be drilled or produced in Alaska, the biggest oil field in the world. |

I don't think they are going to go back down |

Don't hold your breath... |

Not a chance.
I guess that they will be at $5.00 per gallon on Labor Day.
Hope I am wrong.
Glad I use a bicycle and public transportation. |

there are slight decreases & flexulations in price but the general direction is up. they only decrease when protests get too heated. exxon/mobile just boasted $150 billion in profits. imagine what the rest of em made. the prices you pay, their profits...see? dont ask government to solve the problem, they are the owners of the oil companies. |

As soon as they get to $4.00. |

doesn't look like it, I'm from Philly and they just went up about 5 cents |

Nope, not with summer coming soon. Probably in the fall they will... and after paying close to $4 a gal. in the summer, we'll all think paying $3 is a deal. |

doesn't look like it. Maybe after the summer is over they'll go down with the seasonal decrease in demand.
What also could help is more Gulf of Mexico refineries coming back up. |

no. gas prices are supposed to be over $3 a gallon by this summer. keep dreaming if you think it will ever be under $2 again. |

Yes, when we bomb the hell out of Iran. |

Of course they will go down, now that they have accustomed you to new higher prices.
The process is...
Raise the prices on a holiday weekend to a ridiculous level.
Drop them first day after the weekend or even late on the last night of the weekend, so that you are almost home and too tired to line up to get marginally cheaper gas.
Keep the prices at a level which is halfway between what it was last week and what it was on the weekend.
They have established a new price point and scared you all with what it could have been, if not for the integrity of your favourite gas company.
How can an immediate increase in the international price per barrel, be immediately transferred to your local gas pump. There is a 12 week delivery cycle of shipments which have been bought at the old prices.
So the leap in time from the international stock market prices to your local pump, is pure and utter greed and abuse of the public. |

no 4 to 5 bucks a gallon in the next year |

They probably won't go down unless we start to drill and get oil elsewhere. It's almost intolerable where I live with the gas prices... 3.08 a gallon! And it's said becuase it's only going to go up! |

Not until Bush has drained us of our last penny and i'm being serious |

Not any time soon. But don't worry- there's a maximum price limit so that it doesn't keep rising. |

No, most likly not. You can search for gas prices on the web to find the cheapest gas prices in your area, though. |

No. They've always been going up, and they always will. |

Absolutely not - at least not until the fall at the earliest! |

It's Not About The War That's Causing The Price Increase In Gas It's The Oil Company Being Greedy. They Could Still Make Billions In Profit If Gas Went Down To $1.50 When People Can't Afford To Buy Gas Anymore Then They Might Lower The Price's |
