Seattle has so much to see. If you have a week, then here are my suggestions:

Space Needle and Seattle Center
Pikes Place Market
University of Washington campus and arboretum
Ferry boat ride across Puget Sound
Day trip to Mt Rainer National Park
Day trip into Olympic National Park
Take the Anacortes ferry to the San Juan islands for an overnight stay (YOU WON'T REGRET THAT)

If you are going up to Vancouver, I suggest taking the ferry boat from Anacortes or Port Angeles to Vancouver Island and see the city of Victoria first and then ferry to Vancouver city. You will fall in love with these places and the beauty of the land and water is outstanding.

Victoria has so many attractions to see, like Vancouver.

The University of Washington campus is one of the most beautiful in the U.S. The Seattle Arboretum is magnificent. In fact, you can take a canoe from the U.W. and paddle through the arboretum for a truly memorable & expensive experience.

also, there's a really cool place that's not too far away called snoqualmie falls it's where two rivers come together as they fall to form one waterfall...we had an awesome time hiking down there

Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium (for kids), Space Needle (facinating view), EMP, parades the people have, and shows of performing arts such as the langston HughesPerforming arts play (summer musical) it's very great and has classical music and fun dancing.

The music museum is amazing as well as the PIKE market.
It is a fish market that you MUST see.
Well it is more than just a fish market.

i've been to seattle and i went to china town and i think it was really fun because there is lots of things to see and there is the sea to see i think it is really cool i think u'll be amazed

Isn't the pentagon building there? It is super cool to see it. It rocks everybody's socks. I love it there it is so amazing and spectacular, so you should check it out while you're there. I hope this helps!
